    The Health Agenda

AMR, vector-borne and zoonotic diseases, pandemic risks, food contamination, and heat stress are intensifying due to climate change and structural forces, with Asia particularly vulnerable. A One Health approach – linking human, animal, and environmental health, offers a way to address these interconnected risks but remains underprioritised. Together, we will examine how innovative, philanthropy-backed One Health solutions can help protect communities in an increasingly interconnected world.

    13:30 - 14:40 Level 4, Roselle-Simpor Ballroom
    The Inclusive Development Agenda

We all aspire to start well and end well, yet the foundations for lifelong well‑being are shaped from before birth through early childhood, and can be weakened later by broader forces such as urban loneliness and its mental toll. This segment explores how public‑private‑philanthropic partnerships can better support underserved communities in Asia, ensuring everyone has a fair chance to thrive – particularly in the early and later years.

Philanthropy as Risk Capital: Insights from Asia

This closed-door breakfast session will launch a new report exploring how Asian philanthropists can deploy their resources as risk capital — funding that embraces uncertainty to unlock significant social impact. The session aims to raise awareness of risk capital as a viable path to impact, inform Asian philanthropists on how to deploy it effectively, and inspire funders with the opportunities that bold, catalytic giving can unlock.

The session will open with a presentation of key report findings, followed by a moderated panel discussion featuring funders and recipients from across Asia who have pioneered approaches to maximizing philanthropy as risk capital.

    Partner Sessions & Keynotes

    12:00 - 13:00 Level 4, Roselle-Simpor Ballroom
    The Science Agenda

Coral restoration. Carbon sequestration. AI‑enabled hospitals. These are just a few of the breakthrough scientific innovations delivering measurable impact. Hear directly from the scientists and innovators leading these efforts as they share how cutting‑edge science and technology are shaping real‑world solutions – and what it will take to scale impact in the years ahead.

    13:00 - 14:00 Level 4, Roselle-Simpor Ballroom
    The Business Leaders Agenda

In this intimate session with key business leaders, we will reflect on the ESG journey so far and examine where it must go next. While climate action and social equity once dominated corporate agendas, momentum has slowed and many commitments have yet to translate into impact. This discussion will unpack why ESG 1.0 fell short and explore how a more focused, credible, and outcomesdriven approach can reenergise ESG as a source of innovation, resilience, and longterm value creation.

    11:00 - 17:00
    07:30 - 09:00
    Leaders' Breakfast

    11:00 - 17:00

This session brings together leaders of global philanthropic networks to examine how philanthropy can help address today’s interconnected global crises through holistic, ecosystem‑based approaches and strong partnerships. Drawing on WINGS’ cross‑regional insights from Africa, Asia, and Latin America, the discussion will explore how philanthropy can anchor effective multi‑stakeholder collaborations by strengthening philanthropic ecosystems, unlocking investment, fostering innovation, and amplifying impact.
